GAP Match

How matching works.

Every project brief is scored against the network on eight weighted dimensions. AI structures the work; FintastIQ handpicks the people. The result is a reproducible percentage fit — and a human decision on every match.

The Flow

From brief to shortlist in three moves.

01
AI structures the work

Your plain-language brief becomes a structured problem: archetype, functional domain, industry context, urgency. Claude drafts — you approve every word before anything moves.

02
GAP Match scores the network

A deterministic engine scores every advisor on eight weighted dimensions. The same brief always produces the same scores — no black box, no roulette.

03
FintastIQ handpicks the shortlist

A founder reviews every recommendation, writes the fit rationale, and curates the final shortlist. No advisor reaches you without a human decision.

The Scoring Model

Eight dimensions. Weighted, transparent, reproducible.

Every advisor is scored on the same eight dimensions, weighted by how much each one predicts a successful engagement. The weights are part of the method — not a secret.

Problem archetype fitHas this advisor solved this exact class of problem before?

Availability

A live availability signal — not a stale résumé line.

Advisors keep a per-weekday signal (Monday to Friday: unavailable, workshop-only, or available). That signal rolls up to one of four levels — and feeds straight into the availability-and-pricing dimension of the score.

N/A

No open days this cycle. The advisor stays in the network but out of active matching.

Workshop Support

Open for expert calls and workshop moments — not for sustained delivery.

1–4 days / week

Open for fractional and sprint work on a defined weekly rhythm.

Fully Available

All five weekdays open — ready for immersive or interim engagements.

Confidentiality

Your brief travels on a need-to-know basis.

Confidential by default

Project briefs are never published to the network. They are shared only with the small number of advisors shortlisted for your project, under confidentiality expectations, and only after FintastIQ review.

Conflicts screened up front

Conflict and constraint fit is a scored dimension, not an afterthought. Flag competitors or firms to exclude in your brief and they are screened out before matching runs — and before anyone sees your name.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about GAP Match.

What is GAP Match?
GAP Match is the matching engine behind FintastIQ Talent. It scores every project brief against the advisor network on eight weighted dimensions — from problem archetype fit to conflict screening — and produces a reproducible percentage fit for each advisor. AI structures the brief, the scoring itself is deterministic, and FintastIQ reviews every recommendation before it reaches you.
Is matching fully automated?
No. AI does the structuring — turning your plain-language brief into a scored, comparable problem statement — and the engine does the arithmetic. But every shortlist is reviewed and curated by FintastIQ before you see it. No advisor is introduced without a human decision.
How long does it take to see matches?
The brief takes about five minutes. Most curated shortlists are ready within days, not weeks — each advisor arrives with a percentage fit and a written rationale explaining why they made the list.
Who sees my project brief?
Your brief is confidential by default. It is shared only with the small number of advisors shortlisted for your project, under confidentiality expectations, and only after FintastIQ review. You can flag specific companies or firms to exclude, and conflict screening removes them before matching runs.
What happens if there is no strong match?
We tell you. The network is small by intention, and a weak fit is worse than no fit. If the scores say the bench is not right for the work, FintastIQ may recommend a specialist partner, a different engagement shape, or a Rapid Diagnostic to sharpen the problem first.
